Daytona

Three ovals, and the light that falls through them

Open in the middle, so the light can pass through

The distinctive oval shape of the Daytona 500 circuit is the main source of inspiration for this collection. The dynamism and speed of the racetrack have been translated into an elegant oval form.

The Daytona collection has certainly won the “race” in elegance.

The Daytona is a base of stacked bronze ovals — open in the middle, so you look straight through it and the light of the shade makes the bronze itself glow too. Each oval is finished by hand in the atelier in Loenen aan de Vecht.

The same shape exists in six heights, and the ovals count: on a bedside table one lies flat under a small shade, at 155 centimetres two stand upright and at 190 centimetres three. The shade comes from our own shade atelier and can be adapted in size and fabric to the space.
